This toy was exactly what I expected for a $5 purchase from Mattel — not as nice as something found in a McDonald's Happy Meal, but better than a game prize from the local elementary school carnival. :)

It's labeled as "mini," which is 100% accurate, so it's important to note it is definitely a choking hazard for younger kids.
The jeep changes color from pink to a just a slightly different shade of pink with hot or cold water, which does add a bit of a fun twist.
AND, it comes with a tent as well!

I'm giving this toy 5 stars because it delivers exactly what it promises.

I ordered this Mini Barbie Land Jeep and Tent set for my nieces to play with when they visit me because my 30-year old daughter banned them using her retired American Girl minis!!! I got a total of six different Barbie Mini sets, but this review is for the Jeep set that changes color with the temperature.

These are basic, very lightweight plastic. There are several pieces to mix and match with the other sets I ordered. The doll was the same one shown on the product page, although I expected minor differences. There are several pieces to move around and the girls did their best to fashion a way for the jeep to pull the tent behind. Then they made Play-doh furnishings for the tent, which had to be lifted up to furnish it.

I always have special bags and boxes for toys with lots of pieces, and on the inside of the boxes, I tape the contents so that the girls have to be responsible for looking for the tiny items. I use the picture on the back of the packaging as the inventory. They spent a few minutes out in the grass looking for one of the dolls, but that kind of added to the fun, and in the end, it teaches them to tidy up, and to pay attention to detail. I wish I had done this with my own daughter, who never really learned to tidy up or organize things.
