Perfect busy toy for kids. Lots of pieces. They are very small and some of them are super super small. But there are tiny pegs on the inside of the toy to keep the pieces secure. Overall it keeps the kiddos busy. It folds up relatively small and we can take it with us.

This was a gift for a preschooler who LOVES Sea Otters. She was stoked. The pieces are small. So you'll want to make sure the person receiving this is good about appropriately playing with small items. But the recipient has watched multiple older sisters play with polly pockets, so she was proud to get her very own.

This set came with a good number of creatures to play with. It was probably around 6-7 inches long. So a bit larger than the traditional compacts.

Overall, nice.
This is probably our 6th Polly Pocket compact.
My daughter and I love playing with them together, and we collect them for birthdays, Christmas, educational rewards. This came with a boy, which most of them do not, so that was nice. Lots of little animals. The only complaint I have, is that the compact does not shut completely, which means you can lose pieces. Now one thing about these compacts, is you have to make sure that before you close them, you move all the little pieces around, to make sure that it will shut, I know that, but I actually took out every little piece and tried to shut it and it still would not shut, it does not have a good close. It stays a little crack open. I don't know if it was a default in the one that we got.
