It's the track
The car that came with the set didn't work but I have bought other cars that would work on the track. If I could buy just the track I would to expand the one I bought. Using the track I took to old shoe boxes and cut holes in each end. My two year old grandson spent hours picking a car up and moving it, laying flat and watching the cars come through the tunnel. Some of the best bang for the $$$ I have ever spent, my friends bought some for their grandson with same reaction. Just make sure to buy other battery operating vehicles, the more the merrier.

At first I had trouble, and couldn’t get the mother to work. I switched out batteries and lucked out and she came to life! I didn’t realize when I purchased this that you can reload the babies, and have them arrive over and over again. I thought this process was a one time thing with this toy. Didn’t read the reviews before purchasing… After my son played with this for 30 minutes the trigger kept getting harder and harder to pull back. It seemed like it was stuck so I removed the back and found if you remove the orange part it would work. Then I got on here to read the reviews to see customers made the same statement.
